Inclusive Care
Osteopathic care for neurodivergent and disabled people — unhurried, sensory-aware, and always led by you. Every session is adapted to your needs, your pace, and your comfort.
Everyone deserves access to good healthcare — and that includes osteopathy. I have a deep commitment to working with neurodivergent and disabled people, and I understand that a standard clinical approach doesn't always work for everyone.
Whether you have sensory sensitivities, communication differences, physical disabilities, or complex health needs, I will work with you to create a session that feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely helpful. There is no "one size fits all" here.
I believe that understanding a person's whole experience — not just their physical symptoms — is what makes treatment truly effective. Your neurodivergence or disability is part of who you are, and I will never ask you to set that aside at the door.
Who I Work With
Sensory sensitivities, muscle tension, postural patterns, and sleep difficulties are common in autistic individuals. Treatment is always led by your comfort — we go at your pace, with no pressure.
Many people with ADHD carry tension in their bodies from years of hypervigilance or physical restlessness. Osteopathy can help calm the nervous system and ease chronic muscular tension.
Gentle osteopathic care can help manage muscle tone, improve range of motion, reduce discomfort, and support overall wellbeing for people living with cerebral palsy.
Conditions like fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, and chronic fatigue are common in neurodivergent and disabled people. Treatment is adapted to your energy levels and tolerance on the day.
Whether your disability is congenital or acquired, osteopathy can support your body in adapting, reducing compensatory strain, and improving comfort in daily life.
Sessions are fully adaptable — lighting, noise, touch pressure, and pacing can all be adjusted to suit your sensory needs. Your comfort is always the priority.
My Commitment to You
I am committed to making osteopathic care genuinely accessible. That means adapting how I communicate, how I touch, how I structure a session, and how I follow up — based entirely on what works for you.
What to Expect
Before or at your first appointment, let me know about any sensory needs, communication preferences, or adjustments that would help you feel comfortable. There are no wrong answers.
I take time to understand your full history — physical, neurological, and lived experience. Nothing is rushed. You are always in control of what happens and when.
All treatment is explained before it happens. Touch pressure, positioning, and techniques are all adapted to your comfort. You can pause or stop at any point.
Follow-up sessions are tailored to how you are on the day — not a fixed protocol. We work together to find what helps most.
Get in touch before booking if you'd like to discuss your needs first — I'm always happy to have a conversation.
